Presenter Bio

Jaimee Wilson, PE, PhD, BEAP, BEMP, LEED AP BD+C

Jaimee Wilson is a Senior Energy and Sustainability Engineer at Cornell University. Her work includes identifying opportunities to reduce the energy and carbon footprint of the campus’ existing district energy system. She is particularly interested in decarbonization strategies that leverage district energy solutions to integrate renewable thermal sources and waste heat and reduce strain on the electrical grid.

Brendan Hall, PE, CGD

As a project team leader at CHA, Brendan leads the development and implementation of geothermal, district energy, and utility-scale thermal systems, with a focus on projects that can move beyond pilots and scale across campuses, communities, and utility territories. His background spans the full project lifecycle, from early feasibility and energy modeling through detailed mechanical design and delivery. He is a Professional Engineer and an ASHRAE Building Energy Modeling Professional. He is actively involved in advancing the technical and professional practice of geothermal and thermal energy networks through ASHRAE, including leadership roles at the chapter level and ongoing work as the vice chair of technical Committee 6.8 on Geothermal Heat Pumps and Energy Recovery Applications.
